By using GoalFow, you agree to these terms

Welcome to GoalFow. By accessing or using our website at goalfow.org or our Android application (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone else who accesses the Service.

Your Agreement

Using GoalFow — even as a guest — constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Who can use GoalFow

GoalFow is designed for students and learners of all ages. You may use the Service if:

You are 13 years of age or older

If you are between 13 and 18, you have your parent or guardian's consent

You are using the Service for lawful, educational purposes

Users under 13 are not permitted to use GoalFow without verified parental consent. If we become aware that a child under 13 has created an account without consent, we will delete the account and associated data.

3. Your Account

Your responsibilities as an account holder

When you create an account with GoalFow, you are responsible for:

Providing accurate, truthful information during registration

Keeping your login credentials confidential and secure

All activity that occurs under your account

Immediately notifying us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

You may not create more than one account per person. GoalFow reserves the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

How you may and may not use GoalFow

You agree to use GoalFow only for:

Personal academic productivity and goal tracking

Engaging with AI tutoring features in good faith

Lawful activities permitted under applicable Indian law and international standards

You must NOT:

Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure

Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or illegal content

Share your Pro account credentials with others to circumvent payment

Scrape, copy, or redistribute GoalFow content without written permission

Impersonate another person or create false accounts

Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others

5. Pro Subscription & Payments

Terms governing the GoalFow Pro plan

GoalFow offers a free tier and a paid Pro Plan (₹99/month after a 15-day free trial). By subscribing to Pro, you agree to the following:

Trial Period: Your 15-day free trial begins when you create a subscription. No payment is charged during the trial period

Automatic Renewal: After your trial ends, your subscription renews automatically each month at ₹99 until cancelled

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle

Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Contact us within 7 days of an unexpected charge for review

Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. GoalFow does not store your card or bank details

Price Changes: We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing the subscription price

Pro features (Miko AI, Deep Study, AI Quiz Generator) are available only to active Pro subscribers. Downgrading to Free will restrict access to these features.

6. AI Features (Miko & Deep Study)

Important information about our AI-powered tools

GoalFow's AI features (Miko AI, Deep Study, and AI Quiz Generator) are powered by Google Gemini AI. By using these features, you acknowledge that:

AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific situation

AI output should not replace professional academic, medical, legal, or financial advice

Your messages to the AI are processed through our secure servers and are subject to our Privacy Policy

You must not use AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content

GoalFow reserves the right to monitor AI usage to ensure safe and appropriate use, consistent with our Privacy Policy

7. Intellectual Property

Ownership of GoalFow's content and your content

GoalFow's Content: The GoalFow name, logo, design, website, app, and all associated content are the exclusive intellectual property of GoalFow. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Your Content: You retain ownership of any goals, tasks, or notes you create on GoalFow. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

Feedback: Any suggestions or feedback you provide may be used by us to improve GoalFow without any obligation to you.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is"

GoalFow is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service

Accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content

Fitness for a particular academic or educational purpose

We work hard to keep GoalFow running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will be available 100% of the time. Scheduled maintenance and unexpected outages may occasionally occur.

9. Limitation of Liability

The extent of our responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoalFow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

Loss of data, progress, or study records

Loss of earnings or academic opportunities

Damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated content

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

10. Termination

When and how accounts may be suspended or deleted

By You: You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@goalfow.org. Deleting your account will permanently remove your data.

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

Violate these Terms of Service

Engage in abusive, harmful, or illegal activity on the platform

Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Service

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes to Terms

How we update these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of GoalFow after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Jurisdiction and dispute resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of GoalFow shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes informally before seeking legal remedies.
